Reintegra is a counter human trafficking organization

Reintegra International

Because a new life, should last your whole life!

Human trafficking is often fueled by poverty, inequality, armed violence and crime. These factors create desperation which can lead to exploitation. In Central America about 89%-91% of detected victims are women and girls. In addition to this, leading advocacy groups estimate that without proper long-term care, 1 in 3 survivors will likely face re-exploitation.*

At Reintegra we walk alongside our sisters offering them the chance to reclaim their lives as autonomous, restored, and dignified people. We believe healing happens in relationship, not isolation, so we accompany each woman with trauma-informed care that honors her right to self-determination at every step. Our mission is to see every woman step fully into a life that is her own β€” free, whole, and hers to define.

Our Work in 2025

At Reintegra we believe in long-term healing through lasting relationships, trauma informed care and capacity training for our workers. By partnering with local safe homes we are able to provide numerous avenues for healing and opportunity. This is our intelligent and creative investment of love β€”because a new life, should last your whole life!

What We Do.

Safety:

Reintegra‍ partners with safe homes in Mexico and Guatemala, employing multiple opportunities for young women who have survived the ruthless reality of human trafficking

β€”Because a new life should be a safe life.

Whole Life Healing:

At Reintegra‍ ‍we work to honor and promote whole-life healing, not just survival, but strength through deep friendship. Reintegra women meet regularly to encourage one another, ask questions and grow the genuine hope they can bring to their home communities

β€”Because a new life should be a whole life.

Education:

Through educational grants we create possibilities for financial stability, collaborating with women as they pursue their dreams through college degrees and technical certifications. We offer a holistic care model, tailored to individual needs such as job readiness, preparing for interviews and tackling the application process.

β€”Because a new life should be a secure life.

Advocacy:

Reintegra also seeks out advocacy opportunities, enabling women to address legislative bodies, engage with businesses, speak to faith communities, visit university campuses and amplify their voices for justice.

‍ ‍—Because a new life should be a full life.

Trauma Informed Care:

At Reintegra women who have survived victimization and stigma are offered new avenues for healing through trauma-informed care, art, therapy, movement, yoga, self defense, and loving community relationships

β€”Because a new life, should be a healthy life!

Capacity Training

Reintegra partners with neighboring projects to provide long-term capacity training to workers. In the intense occupation of reintegration we know how important it is to provide for those who are doing the labor.

Capacity training builds endurance, teaches trauma-informed care, and makes sure the carers are cared for

β€”Because a new life is community life.
